Quality Council of India

Quality Council of India (QCI) was established as a National body for Accreditation on recommendations of the Expert Mission of EU after consultations in Inter-Ministerial Task Force, Committee of Secretaries and Group of Ministers through a Cabinet decision in 1996. Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, is the Nodal Point for QCI. As an independent and autonomous body, QCI creates a mechanism for independent third-party assessment of products, services and processes. It plays a pivotal role at the national level in propagating, adoption and adherence to quality standards in all important spheres of activities. QCI coordinates its activities through its constituent Boards & Divisions/Cells.

National Board for Quality Promotion:

National Board for Quality Promotion (NBQP) is guided by a vision that consolidates all the efforts in the direction of enabling 'Quality of Life' for citizens of India by Educating all stakeholders; Engaging them in quality & related activities and Empowering them to take forward this cause in their respective domains.

About Online Quality Summer Funcamp:

The main objective of this Funcamp is to instil the concept of quality among children, who are the futures decision-makers. Because art knows no age, competitions are open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The idea is to emphasise the importance of quality in areas like food, habitat, toys, healthcare, education, environmental education, and sustainability.
